WHO WE ARE
Nteje Development Union, USA (NDU-USA) is a nonprofit, non-governmental, and non-political organization comprising people of Nteje ancestry and their families residing in the United States. The Union is dedicated to promoting sustainable community development, cultural heritage, education, and the welfare of its members.
MISSION
Our mission is to unite Nteje indigenes in the United States to promote meaningful development, preserve our cultural heritage, foster educational and social advancement, strengthen relationships among members, and encourage international cooperation between Nteje, Nigeria, and communities across the United States.
OBJECTIVES
NDU-USA strives to advance the progress and well-being of Nteje through sustainable development initiatives, cultural promotion, educational support, and community service. We encourage cooperation among members, build lasting partnerships with other communities, and foster cultural exchange between Nigeria and the United States.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to people of Nteje ancestry and their families residing in the US. The Union recognizes both active and non-active membership, with active members maintaining good financial standing through registration, dues, and participation in advancing the Union's mission and development initiatives.

Whether you are a son or daughter of Nteje, a friend of our community, or simply visiting to learn more about us, we are delighted to have you here. Nteje is a historic Igbo community and the headquarters of Oyi Local Government Area in Anambra State, Nigeria. For generations, our people have built their lives through agriculture, commerce, and enterprise, sustained by a strong tradition of family and communal responsibility.

On-Going Project
Reconstruction of the Fence at Nteje Community Health Center
The Nteje Development Union, USA (NDU-USA), is undertaking the reconstruction of the perimeter fence at the Nteje Community Health Center to improve security, safeguard healthcare assets, and create a safer environment for patients, healthcare workers, and visitors. The project features a reinforced retaining-wall foundation, erosion-control measures, and durable construction designed for long-term resilience. Executed in partnership with a qualified local contractor, this initiative reflects NDU-USA's ongoing commitment to sustainable community development, improved public health infrastructure, and the well-being of the people of Nteje.
